If you can connect your phone to Wi-Fi, you can set up PlanPal. Plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi, download the free app, add your family and sync your calendars. It takes about 10 minutes, and we'll walk you through it if you get stuck.

Google Calendar, Apple (iCloud), Outlook, Yahoo and Cozi. Your existing events appear automatically, and nobody has to switch apps.

It keeps showing what's already on the screen, but it needs Wi-Fi to sync new events and changes made in the app.

Only if you let them. Parental controls let you decide who can add, edit or delete events, chores and rewards.

Give each chore a star value. When the kids tick it off, the stars add up. You choose the rewards, like screen time, a sleepover or picking Friday's dinner, and they redeem their stars when they've earned enough.

You have 30 nights from delivery to try PlanPal at home. If it's not right for your family, send it back for a refund. Return shipping is at your cost. Talk to us first, though. Most "it's not working for us" moments are a five-minute fix.
